ActioNet, Inc. announced today the award of a three-year performance-based contract entitled Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) Information Technology/Information Management Services to provide a full spectrum of IM/IT healthcare and administrative on-site services throughout the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan area, to include Fort Sam Houston, Camp Bullis, Corpus Christi Naval Air Station and commercial locations. The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Mission Contracting Office – Fort Sam Houston awarded the contract using the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Alliant Small Business (ASB) Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC).
About BAMC
The BAMC Information Management Division (IMD) is responsible for providing information services in support of health care delivery and administration for approximately 9,000 customers. BAMC’s architecture consists of standard Department of Defense (DoD) Health Affairs and Army Automated Information Systems (AIS), Commercial Off-The-Shelf Systems (COTS), and locally developed systems. BAMC is the component command over the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) and other U.S. Army medical treatment facilities in the San Antonio area. SAMMC is the largest medical center in the DoD. Other medical facilities under BAMC’s command include the Center for the Intrepid, Fort Sam Houston Clinic, McWethy Troop Medical Clinic, Taylor Burk Clinic at Camp Bullis, and the Schertz Medical Home.
