ActioNet, Inc. announced today the award of a contract under its National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The contract will provide the JITSPP’s U.S. Army Information Technology Agency (ITA) Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) with the full range of services required to support technology research, evaluation, solution demonstration, piloting, development, testing, deployment and integration services needed at the following locations: the Pentagon, the National Capital Region (NCR), Arlington, VA, Fort Belvoir and Pennsylvania.
About JITSPP / U.S. Army ITA
The U.S. Army ITA is a part of the JITSPP, which combines the ITA with the Office of the Secretary Defense (OSD) Enterprise Information Technology Service Division (EITSD) and other IT service providers within the Pentagon and National Capital Region (NCR) into a single IT service provider for the Pentagon and several DoD components across the NCR. The ITA is responsible for the design, test, installation, operation and maintenance of the Pentagon enterprise infrastructure and Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) end-user computing environment. The ITA’s customer base consists primarily of the DoD armed services and agencies within the Pentagon Reservation. ITA is comprised of six functionally aligned organizational elements and the OCTO, who are responsible for executing the Agency’s critical mission supporting the Headquarters, Department of Defense.
